Days of fashion, photography, video, and written word will take place between 1 and 3 June 2012 in Maribor Gallery. There will be exhibitions, presentations, roundtables, and performances by numerous domestic and foreign artists, who have in common their deviant and rebellious spirit towards society and the world.
Under the auspices of the New Platform of Creativity - Radar Project, several models by Koji Tatsuno, a renown fashion designer, who resides in Paris, will be on display; Tatsuno will be present at the event.
Conceptual exhibition - 01-06-2012 is a work - a vision of eternity - of several contributors. Exhibition will be in complete whiteness (all models are in white) and symbolises a story of a contemporary time - nowadays is congested with the rapid changes and the idea of impermanence. The exhibition deliberately turns its back on constant changes in trends, because it wishes to quietly last as long as creative ideas will.
There will be photographs and videos of the following artists on display: Saša Hess (Slovenia), Bruna Kazinoti (Croatia), Aleksandar Kujučev and Marko Sovilj (Serbia).
Roundtables are also on the menu alongside exhibitions, fashion performances, and presentations. Discussions will evolve around current critical issues in fashion and art worlds. Different notable guests will present themselves on various roundtables, among other: Koji Tatsuno, unsurpassable and obstinate designer, Kristin Knox, author, stylist, journalist, and blogger, and Emil Rebek, Slovenia-born CEO of L’Officiel Hommes Italia magazine, who resides in Milan.
